Prize Winners at British Hydrological Society Peter Wolf Symposium
WISE CDT Students Wouter Knoben and Ludovica Beltrame were awarded prizes for best poster presentation and best oral presentation respectively at the British Hydrological Society Peter Wolf Symposium 2016, held at the University of Bristol on the 26th – 27th May 2016.
Participants discussed their recent work on hydrology, hydrogeology and water resources at the two day event, which also included a field trip to Sheepdrove Organic Farm in Berkshire where work is being carried out by Dr Rafael Rosolem of Bristol University on soil moisture and surface energy flux heterogeneity.
Over 30 people attended the event, at which Ludovica presented her interdisciplinary work on liver fluke modelling, combining hydrology and parasitology, and Wouter on dealing with model structure uncertainty in hydrological models.
