WISE CDT Student attends Novatech Conference, Lyon
WISE CDT student, James Webber recently attended the 9th International Novatech 2016 Conference in Lyon, France. Novatech is an international conference focused on sharing knowledge on the sustainable management of water in cities. The conference consisted of three days with four parallel sessions exploring state of the art research into strategic planning, stormwater flood management, stormwater pollution, catchment management and network design. The event was attended by academics, consultants and water professionals from around the world.
Of the conference James said “Novatech 2016 was a fantastic opportunity to see a wide variety of research presented by global experts in the discipline of urban water management. I’ve returned from the event with new perspectives on the challenges I am investigating as part of my own work. The WISE CDT Studentship I’ve been awarded is a great gateway to providing these sorts of opportunities.”
